Every year, one of the highpoints of the Africa Arbitration Academy Flagship Training Programme is the Annual Academy Debate - Battle of the Titans. In the previous years, we've had interesting debates between Professor Gary Born v. Professor Jan Paulsson, Professor Stavros Brekoulakis and Jacob Grierson, and many more.

This year's debate is indeed special as we will be having two female arbitration thought leaders as our debaters. Funke Adekoya SAN will be debating Meriam Nazih Alrashid on the motion "Investment arbitration is an impediment to economic growth in Africa."

This important session will be moderated by ace practitioner - Tsegaye Laurendeau and hosted by Professor EMILIA ONYEMA.
